After a successful pitch at Cartoon Forum 2025 and CEE Forum, COCO is entering the next stage of development.
We’re currently engaging with broadcasters and sales agent who expressed strong interest in the project, and we’re polishing our vision to ensure Coco’s stories reach families everywhere.

We’re pleased to share that designer, animator, and director Patricia Ortiz Martínez joined our team to design Norm & Gnomes for the application for the Czech Audiovisual Fund.
We are looking forward to bringing this touching movie to the big screens.

Blue Light Pictures is an animation production company dedicated to creating original and engaging stories for audiences of all ages. We develop and produce 2D, 3D, and stop-motion animation — from series and feature films to shorts and digital content. Our focus lies not only in production but also in project development and international co-productions with creative partners across Europe.
As an eligible applicant for the Creative Europe MEDIA programme and various national TV and film funding schemes, we support our partners in securing suitable financing. The Czech Republic additionally offers a 35% tax incentive for animation production and post-production.
We are proud to have contributed to well-known productions such as Maisy, Paz, Spot, Pat & Mat, and many others. We are currently developing and preparing for production the animated TV series about the delightful little bird Coco, as well as the animated feature Norm & Gnomes. Stay tuned!
PRODUCTIONS
COCO
is an animated TV series based on the award-winning books by bestselling author and illustrator Loes Riphagen. The series is currently in the final stage of development, with Phanta Animation from the Netherlands and Czech Television as the main co-producers.
